Accuracy
There are often questions about accuracy. Guaranteed accuracy is however almost always a laboratory measurement and has little practical value. The accuracy with horizontal and vertical systems is dependent on external factors such as: the density of the visitor flow, the breadth of the aisle, the measuring height and the location of the sensors.
Horizontal versus vertical
The SPOTTIC (NU) system can measure very accurately both vertically and horizontally. Both measuring methods have their own specific points of interest. Since SPOTTIC (NU) horizontal systems have a very high price/quality ratio, even very busy shopping centres are choosing more often to measure in this manner.
